1. What happens when you sign?
The recipient reviews the PDF using their individual token link, completes assigned fields and submits the signature through a separate action. Before submitting, review the full document, the parties and your authority to sign. Do not forward the link.
2. Technical and legal limits
This version does not provide identity-document verification, qualified certificates or a qualified trust service. We do not claim identical legal effects for all document types or countries. Transactions subject to special formalities, notarization or public authority requirements need particular assessment.
3. Electronic transactions in Singapore
The Singapore Electronic Transactions Act addresses electronic records and signatures and provides exclusions. Requirements for the particular document type and signing method must be checked. The current DocuFlowr token and PDF-stamp workflow is not automatically classified as a qualified or secure electronic signature.
4. Electronic form
Article 25 of eIDAS distinguishes protection against rejection solely because a signature is electronic from the handwritten-signature equivalence of a qualified electronic signature. This system’s technical characteristics require separate assessment; a signature image on a PDF does not itself establish qualification.
5. Copies and alternatives
Download the signed copy where the document workflow makes it available. If you do not wish to sign electronically or cannot open the PDF, do not submit a signature; ask the sender for an alternative process or paper copy. Leaving a signing session and withdrawing a statement already submitted are different actions.
6. Technical requirements
Use a current browser, an internet connection, JavaScript and a device able to display or download PDFs. Recipients should check that they can read and retain the document for their records.
